Walton Hills Owl

The Walton Hills Owl is a monthly non-political publication that prints civic and social news of general interest to the residents of Walton Hills. The newsletter is created by an all-volunteer staff and delivered at no charge to residents of the Village. The Owl is unique in that many of its articles are written and submitted by the various social and civic organizations in the community, this making it truly a newspaper for the people and by the people. The intent of the publication is to create a spirit of cooperation among its readers so they may actively partake in the betterment and continued progress of their Village. It is financially supported by advertisers and donations.

The Owl was founded in 1957 as a newsletter to members of the Walton Hills Estates Club, residents who had purchased lots from the Conelly Realty Company. In February 1958 the Owl seperated itself from the Estates Club to become a Village-wide publication.
